WHAT WILL YOU SEE:

Although the Northern lights are active year around, they are best seen against the dark sky. We have long days during the summer months here. Iceland's longest day of the year, the summer solstice, is around the 21st of June. On that day the sun sets just after midnight and rises again just before 3am, in Reykjavík.In Contrast  21st of December sees about 4 hours of daylight. Therefor catching a glimpse of this dancing celestial light is most likely between September and mid April.
